The Tri-City Fire Department was Founded in October 1998. the department was founded with a single engine and Station " Station 17 " the station still stands today although highly renovated since its conception it still serves as TCLFD's headquarters. The department currently has 4 custom built Stations and 1 pre fabricated station with a staff of 6 Paramedic Firefighters, 3 EMT Paramedics, 11 Firefighters , 1 Battalion Chief, 1 Arson Investigator and 1 Environmental Services Rep. The TCLFD is Very active in the community and performs a wide variety of duties beyond structure protection and Paramedic Services, some of the duties include School Visits educating children on what to do when dealing with emergencies. Public Safety meetings are held every second Wednesday of the month at Station 17 each meeting covers safety procedures with every day life and what to do in case of a fire.
